Who we are

What we collect

When you submit our quote/contact form, we collect your name, email, country, and — optionally — your company name and the project details you choose to share.

Automatically, we detect an approximate country from your IP address (to show the right language and currency) and store a small cookie with your language preference.

Why we use it (legal basis)

We use this data solely to answer your enquiry and prepare a possible offer — i.e. steps taken at your request prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to prospective clients.

We do not use your data for advertising and we never sell it.

Cookies

We use only essential, functional cookies: NEXT_LOCALE (your chosen language) and COUNTRY (your detected region, used to show local pricing). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Who processes your data

Trusted providers act on our behalf only to deliver this service: Vercel (website hosting), Neon (database) and Resend (email delivery). They process your data only as needed to provide these services.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (e.g. in the United States). Where that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing. Email contact@aedifylab.com and we will respond within the legal time limits.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
